Beverly Anderson

My education and experience can help SCORE clients in a lot of ways. I’ve worked as a freelance bookkeeper since 1996 and am founder and president of the Home-based Business Chamber of Commerce. I am also founder/director of the Entrepreneur Training Institute. I received a Masters degree in Human Resources and am pursuing a doctorate in Management and Organizational Leadership. I primarily serve those in the first five years of business. I can help you with basic business bookkeeping and more. I serve as the chapter’s vice chair.

Dr. Janet T. Cherry

Effective communication (writing, speaking, listening, behavior) is my passion with a career built around it: university faculty, public speaking, corporate training, business owner, and published author. My philosophy embraces all business components having roots in effective communication. Mentoring incorporates this philosophy. Helping with, and presenting SCORE workshops, is a pleasure. I am happy to offer support and share experiences in authoring and publishing with clients. I serve on the chapter's Membership Committee.

Jiljuana J. Coleman

I am a subject matter expert with cross-functional industry experience in leadership strategy, project management, operational integration, process and procedure improvement, business continuity planning and response, and generalized business compliance. In addition to my business as the owner of a strategic consulting firm and my work for SCORE, I serve as a Disaster Team member for the Red Cross and I am a Certified Instructor and Reservist for FEMA’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) with the City of Memphis’ Office of Emergency Management. Rodger Cravens

As a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and not being a business generalist, I am typically sought after in logistics to advise C-Level / Business owners on the complexities of logistics projects they are contemplating and make recommendations. My logistics background does not limit me to logistics, though. I am able to take my skillsets to other areas with ease -- and I have on many occasions. I started Davis Professional Accounting Services on the first day of the new millennium in New Orleans. My 33 years in management with the Nationwide Insurance Company put me in position to learn a great many things that I love passing along to my SCORE clients. One of my specialties is sales and marketing with an emphasis on retaining customers. It's hard to get the customers and sometimes even harder to keep them. We can work on that. Vernon Tabor
